In Slovakia, winter tyres must be worn from 15 November to 31 March if there is a continuous layer of snow, ice or frost on the road. After this period, it&#8217;s time to change your summer tyres to ensure safe and economical driving.<\/p>\n\n<p>With spring comes the time to replace winter tyres with summer tyres. Whether you&#8217;re doing it at home or leaving your car to the experts, tyre shops will have their hands full in the coming weeks. If you want to avoid long waiting times, we recommend making an appointment as soon as possible. Properly chosen and well-stored tyres will ensure safe driving and a longer life for your footwear.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to make changing your tyres easier?<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check the tread depth &#8211; the minimum recommended tread depth for summer tyres is 1.6 mm, but at least 3 mm is recommended for safety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check tyre pressure &#8211; incorrect pressure can affect both fuel consumption and vehicle stability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are changing at home, use the correct tools and torque wrench to tighten the bolts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fast and efficient packaging for tyre workshops<\/h2>\n\n<p>For tyre garages and tyre dealers, the changing season is a busy time.
