Air corrector – Why is it needed ?
For use in pneumatic packaging machines, the compressed air must first be freed from condensate and mechanical impurities. This can be most easily ensured by the use of filters. Unfiltered air damages pneumatic tools by corrosion, lubricant washout and also by mechanical impurities contained in the air. Most pneumatic equipment requires air lubrication. While this can be ensured by periodically injecting approx. 1-2 cc of special oil directly into the quick coupling of the specific tool, in practice it is more efficient to use an affordable oil lubricator that plugs directly in front of the tool (mini or panel design), which lubricates the entire system (or a specific branch of it) just after the filter. Of course, the air for e.g. paint spraying is not lubricated.
