The Corner Tape 50 TBB is a machine for gluing boxes of different formats. It automatically coats and glues the top and bottom of the carton box. The operator adjusts the machine settings according to the dimensions of the inserted box, varying the width and height of the drive belts. Push the box (previously glued in the middle section up and down) in the direction of the input. At this point, the motorized rollers will direct the box towards the sensor, which will activate the slider and move it 90° relative to the insertion. The four adhesive heads are sealed laterally by the application of 4 “U” strips and activate a system of air rollers that lower the edges of the tape and hermetically seal the box on all sides. This sealing machine can also be inserted in automatic lines without operator. It is a simple and practical wrapping station equipped with infeed and outfeed rollers. The drives are pneumatic type and the electronic control is controlled by SIEMENS® PLC.
