In addition to its business and commercial activities, our company strives to develop social activities. That is why we try to support both young and adult sports enthusiasts.
Like any sport, darts cannot do without adequate financial support. Whether we are referring to domestic sporting events or abroad, this equation applies equally to all.
We would like to introduce you to a successful representative and employee of our company Jozef, whose love for sports led him from baseball to competitive darts. “It all started 25 years ago in 1997 when I needed to find my place in the sports world. Like every guy, he would watch a sports programme here and there on TV and just then a darts tournament was on. A few days later, the world’s first homemade target was made. Over time, I participated in various tournaments all over the country. I got to know people who had the same opinion and enthusiasm for the sport as I did. Of course, like other sports, this sport is appreciated.
My biggest soft season accomplishment so far is my 2021-2022 ranking, where I achieved 6th place. However, my lifetime achievement is 2nd place in the triple mix category.
As a sport it is physically, financially, but above all mentally very demanding, so the support from my family and now also from W rent, the company I have the honour to work for and which has decided to support me, is very important.

Tournament Košice
On Friday and Saturday (7-8 October 2022), the Slovakia Dart Cup tournament took place in Košice, where our employee Jozef Fundárek also took part.
A total of 129 players participated in the tournament. Jozef took home a beautiful 9th place from the main tournament. He also participated in the doubles category, where he and his team won 5th place .
