The main objective of the project was to standardise the strapping of different types of pallets, eliminate errors caused by manual strapping and improve the overall productivity of the process. The solution includes several technical innovations:
- Automatic Vertical Strapper: this feature ensures accurate and reliable placement of the straps on the pallets without the risk of twisting them.
- Rotary table: the integrated system allows both longitudinal and transverse pallet strapping, which increases the flexibility of the strapping process and adaptability to different types of strapping.
- Laser targeting system: This system, together with pallet height detection, increases machine autonomy and minimizes the need for manual intervention, leading to higher accuracy and reliability.
