The customer handled hundreds of pallets and bales daily, which were secured with plastic ties. Once unwrapped, the tapes piled up all over the warehouse, taking up space, making it difficult for forklifts to pass and creating safety hazards for employees. The collection and disposal of waste tie-downs was time-consuming and poorly organised. The tapes often ended up in municipal waste, increasing removal costs and reducing recycling rates.

We added shredder for plastic binding strips with built-in collection hopper. The machine was placed directly at the goods dispensing point, where workers simply dropped in the waste. The shredded plastic was then taken away for recycling.
